About Furnace & AC Replacement

UniColorado’s guide to replacing connected furnace and air-conditioning equipment together or in stages.

RETURNBLOWERCOILROOMS

Furnace & AC Replacement is published by UniColorado Heating & Cooling for homeowners weighing one combined project against work done in stages.

Two pieces of equipment, one connected system

The replacement sequence lets you start with the project you are considering and examine the equipment that stays connected to it. Its purpose is to help you ask what must work together now and what a later replacement could change. It does not decide that both units need replacement or calculate savings from doing the work together.

Our installation photographs show indoor and outdoor arrangements from separate UniColorado jobs. They illustrate connections and access; they are not a before-and-after record of the sequence you select.

Discuss the work at your house

UniColorado operates this site and may quote your installation. You can send photos of both systems or schedule an estimate through Plenum. Please include the indoor equipment as well as the outdoor unit. Read UniColorado's privacy policy.
